In Spain, “Pepe” and “Pepa” are the affectionate short names for Joseph and Josefina. As the founders, we decided to bring a piece of ourselves to this space by naming the albergue after our own middle names.

Albergue Pepe y Pepa is located just 50 meters off the spiritual variant of the Camino Portugués in the town of Pontesecures or 500 meters from the Camino Portugués official .

The Albergue Pepe y Pepa will be opening in March 2027.
We just started to take reservations for 2027 so if you are planning to walk the Camino Portugués in the holy year 2027, you are welcome to make your reservation. We want to receive you with open arms, open heart and open mind.
